Attention all those who seek to prove themselves in battle!!!!!! I am going to host a Nilgiri version of WWF. This will be a double elimination battle. Only one main per person please, no alts. Mortals of Immortals may participate. I need your characters name on a piece of paper sent to me so I know how many will participate. Any level is welcome to this battle. The battles will be level specific, so there won't be any level 22 for example battling a level 10. I plan on having this battle on Saturday 22nd at 6pm Pacific time. Please send in your characters name before 10 am Saturday morning so I have time to place you in the battle you will be in. I look forward to seeing you all there.

I can totally sympathize with the thoughts on the amount of death tnl that one n eeds to overcome before one gets back to true experience. I have died over 15 times on level 26 and probably close to 10 now on this level . I admit lowering the amount of death tnl would be great since the sheer amount a t higher levels can be daunting. However, it is not impossible to overcome as I have proven myself by the sheer a ct of leveling. I admit 80 million od death tnl sounds crazy but higher levels are able to gain a couple million or so a day if we try, whereas lower levels may hope to just ac complish a couple hundred thousand if that. Anyway, leveling just takes a little bit of effort and time...but you can still level after a death even though the amount may appear daunting.

cast 'instant' totally agree with Adarock here..at higher levels its totally ins ane losing so much experience for just one death. cast 'instant' would like to suggest a way to reduce your exp_loss from a death:
You can buy 5 blessings from 5 different NPC's around the continent and each ble ssing reduces the percent of deathloss..This can give gold additional value as w ell Obviously, affording 5 blessings won't be an easy task, but it will at least giv e higher levels a chance to not give up every time they die..Many times people d ie due to their internet connection or maybe even mud lag
My main is level 27 and has died around 4 times at that level..and now he needs 300% of what he originally needed to level...I might as well make a new characte r

Today I was on the unfortunate end of a death. The most unfortunate part of this whole process is i lost EIGHTY MILLION EXP!!!
Look this mud isn't exactly flush with a big playerbase right now and the extreme exp penalities we suffer due to a death which happens to everyone at some point or another is just obscene. It is hard enough to level a character into the higher levels 25+ anyway. Nevermind the hundreds of millions of exp we have to knock off to get to our next levels. We still have to contend with knocking off another half a level if we make a mistake and suffer a death.
The exp penalty seriously needs to be adjusted in the worst possible way. If you die above 25 you might as well scrap your character unless you want to put in another couple hundred hours to knock off exp that took you 10 seconds to put on your tab. Come on imms help the playerbase out here. Adjust the death penalty so that when you do die you don't have to abandon hope of ever leveling
up again.

Just wanted to post something new, as I've read this Orondel/Zuko conversation about a hundred times. Looking forward to killing golems next time anyone has the bright idea. (Not something I can solo.)
Cordialmente, Primo.
